Build.Works enhances productivity and business processes of offsite construction companies with Autodesk Construction Cloud integration.
TALLINN, - Build.Works, the cloud solution for lean modular construction, today announced it has launched an integration with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insights. Customers can seamlessly bridge the gap between prefabrication and on-site project execution by using Autodesk Construction Cloud in concert with Build.Works to manage the end-to-end business process in production planning and execution.
Build.Works customers can now access their BIM models stored in Autodesk® Docs or BIM 360®, the common data environment underpinning Autodesk Construction Cloud, and use a suite of integrated BIM-based applications for product specifications, resource planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement as well as production planning and control.
Integrating project data between Build.Works and Autodesk Construction Cloud saves teams time and money by providing a consistent and single source of truth for BIM models and project information. Teams can connect their BIM data to business processes in procurement, production, warehousing, finance, and project management. For customers, who have implemented ERP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA®, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Build.Works can trigger business processes in enterprise applications based on BIM.
“Prefabrication is a rapidly evolving construction method and we are constantly looking for ways to increase the productivity of modular and panelized construction companies”, said Peeter Pärna, the Founder and CEO of Build.Works. “The Build.Works and Autodesk Construction Cloud integration is one such a way to optimize and streamline business processes to increase the scalability of business and lay foundation for future growth.”
“As manufacturing and construction converge, it’s critical for prefabrication teams to link their design and building data,” said James Cook head of integrations at Autodesk Construction Solutions. “Integrating the design and building information housed in Autodesk Construction Cloud with applications such as Build.Works enables teams to connect their building workflows and business processes to drive project success.”
